The President Prof Dr Maged el Kemary participates in the conference organized by the high institute of social service at Kafrelsheikh University in the presence of Prof Dr Wagih el Dousouky, the dean of the social service institute and the head of committee of social service education sector, the deans of social service institutes and the vices of president of Kafrelsheikh University and Aswan University The conference discussed the development of social service regulations, how to develop it and the characterization of all curriculums according to the new regulation accredited by the supreme council of institutes affairs. From his part, the President Prof Dr Maged el Kemary assures the importance of developing curriculums and study programs for the faculties of social service and different institutions to cope with the needs of the current phase that Egypt seeks to raise the abilities of graduates to serve the goals of development and develop community. The sector of social service is developmental sector due to its dealings with the social and behavioral problems i.e. problems of reason and conscience of human and social ills from which the community suffer should be tackled through programs and curriculums capable of tackling these diseases, changing the culture of youth to making jobs instead of waiting as well as social habits that are not commensurate with the problems the nature of the stage. He points out that the law of institutions will be the door of the new law of higher education and the vision of the Minister of Higher Education is to convert some institutions to community faculties that meet the requirements of sustainable economic development and any development that does not take into account the social dimension is not sufficient to meet the requirements of the community and the next phase will witness the launch of the institutions of Higher Education to lead the community to convert towards the economy of knowledge in application and development through the new law of Higher Education that facilitate the restructuring of the institutions of higher education to carry out this goal.
