The president Prof Dr Maged el Kemary meets today with the student Mariam Saied el Sharkawy, the student in the first year in Geography Department in the Faculty of Arts, to be honored after she has won the first place in the world in the competition (Intel Bassef) for scientific and engineering researches for inventing a device that offers the possibility of modifying security systems modernly used and penetrating them in danger.

As well, the president Prof Dr Maged el Kemary praises the scientific achievement of Mariam saying that Mariam will be honored in University Day next April as she is a great model of many Egyptian creative youth who need support and encouragement from us not only as officers and men of sciences, but as parents and Egyptians as she was able to achieve her dream and turn her ideas into reality through her inventions with least possibilities for her belief of the real role of youth in creating change and as professors, this is what we are keen to spread among our students.

On the sidelines of the meeting, the president Prof Dr Maged el Kemary calls Mariam to participate in the project “Child University” adopted by the university to develop the tendencies of scientific research for talented and innovators children with the activation of the role of the university in the service of community and home and take advantage of scientific research and benefit from the advanced possibilities of labs.
