The president Prof Dr Maged makes a decision that Dr el Saied Abdu Sileem is elected as a dean of the faculty from 10 August 2012 and this happens by election as the faculties of Fine Arts in Cairo, Alexandria and el Minia. He is a creative artist who participates in enriching sculpture in Egypt and Arabian world as he presents a special and unique model in his sculptures that carry figurative expression. His experience over the ages and his interest in human topics change his sculptures into structures in a gap with full gravity towards three dimensional blocs. Moreover, his experience in casting bronze is reflected in his sculptures as it is a good ore that adds vitality and depth.

      He was born in 1952 in Kafrelsheikh and got Bachelor in the faculty of Fine Arts in Alexandria University in 1976. In 1998, he got PHD. Also, he settles many fairs in Egypt, Paris and Italy, participates in fairs at the local and international levels and got many local and international prizes; one of them was sculpture prize in el Nile competition in 1994 and in Benali (Ecuador) in 2006. He has different assets in different countries as Egypt, Germany, Spanish, France, Italy, Kuwait, Behrain and Saudi Arabia and in different museums as the Egyptian museum and Banamu in Japan.

    The most important works were Naghib Mahfouz statue in Sphinx square and others were in Kafrelsheikh, Alexandria, Chanchiang in China, Velnouse in Lithuania and Beirut. He constitutes a hall for plastic art and settles fairs such as fairs for the artists Mahmoud khafaja, Ibrahim Shalabi, Magdy el Sherbini, Reda Abed el Rahmathat will open after two days.
