Central management for
cultural relations is honored to notify your majesty (prof Dr Maged el Kemary)
that it is received a book from the ministry of higher education about the
meeting of Egyptian ambassador with the president of Vienne University and the
vices dean for research and international affairs to search the opportunities
of cooperation between Vienne University and Egyptian universities. They speak
about the following:
1) The
number of foreign students in Vienne University in different academic degrees
is 152, so Egypt is within 20 countries which send students to it, but there is
no constitutional cooperation between Vienne University and Egyptian
university.
2) Research cooperation that links academics in
universities (Tanta, South Valley, Assuit, Zagazig, national research institute
…etc.) is the mutual scientific publications in the fields of Physics and
Geology.
3) Vienne
University suggests the enhancement of cooperation through cooperation between
it and (Ain Shams or Cairo University) as a partner for diversity of
specialisms. Also, it suggests that one or two Egyptian students whose
university has research cooperation with this university can study in Vienne
University.
4) This
university welcomes that it can cooperate with Egyptian universities in the
field of political sciences as they have tended to hold academic forum in
political sciences department in Vienne University and oriental studies
institute in the first term of next year about democratic transition in Middle
East.
