A training workshop titled "Modern Techniques for Using Microsoft Word" was held today, Tuesday, September 24, 2024. The workshop was presented by Eng. Mohamed Khairy Mohamed, an assistant lecturer in the Department of Educational Technology and Computer Science and the Director of the E-Services Unit.

The workshop covered Microsoft Word skills, including explanations and demonstrations of writing and formatting skills, as well as how to create electronic tables of contents and references. It also included instructions on adding footnotes and utilizing the features and properties of various lists. Steps for installing and activating Office 365 Education using academic email were clarified, along with guidance on dividing Word files into sections for easier formatting management.

This workshop emphasized the importance of Microsoft Word skills that facilitate work tasks, concluding with a session for questions and inquiries
