Kafrelsheikh University has begun welcoming first-phase students for coordination to register their preferences through the computer labs at the Faculty of Specific Education. This coincides with the launch of the first day of registration, under the patronage of Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, President of Kafrelsheikh University, and Dr. Mohamed Abdel Aal, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and under the supervision of Dr. Naglaa El-Ashraf, Dean of the Faculty of Specific Education.
Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, President of Kafrelsheikh University, stated that the computer labs at the Faculty of Specific Education are seeing a significant turnout from high school students for the registration of their preferences on the first day of the coordination process. The faculty has designated computer labs to receive students under the supervision of specialists and experts to assist them in the registration process. Additionally, rest areas for parents have been provided, along with the distribution of a list of accredited credit hour programs and special programs to the students.
Dr. Mohamed Abdel Aal, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, mentioned that the computer labs at the Faculty of Specific Education are staffed with a specialized and experienced team in coordination tasks, capable of providing guidance to students from Egyptian high schools, as well as those with equivalent Arab, foreign, and technical diplomas. Additionally, faculty members, assistant staff, and trained administrative personnel have been enlisted to assist students and their families with the electronic coordination process.
It is worth noting that the first phase of university admission coordination began today, Monday, and will continue until August 16. The electronic coordination website is now available for high school students to register their preferences. According to the Coordination Office, the minimum score for the first phase for the Science division is 371 marks or more (90.48%), with a total of 23,850 students. For the Engineering division, the minimum is 357 marks or more (87.07%), with 15,355 students. The minimum for the Arts division is 280 marks or more (68.29%), with 73,995 students, bringing the total number of first-phase students to 113,200 across all divisions.
The University Admissions Coordination Office has confirmed that students can select up to 75 preferences on the electronic coordination website, and the system will not accept the student’s data until all 75 preferences are registered.
