Kafrelsheikh University concluded the activities of the Environmental Week for the university’s faculties, which was organized by the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector,
from 5 to 9 November.
Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, President of Kafrelsheikh University, participated in the activities of the afforestation campaign at the university’s headquarters, which was implemented within the presidential initiative 100 Million Trees, at the conclusion of the week’s activities. The University President said that the afforestation campaign aims to enhance efforts aimed at preserving the environment and the green cover, and also To support and develop the planning and management process of green spaces within the university environment, and to add an aesthetic image to the university’s roads and streets.
The activities of the Environmental Week for the faculties of Kafrelsheikh University ended with a closing ceremony, where President of Kafrelsheikh University, witnessed the closing ceremony at the Faculty of Computers and Information, in the presence of Dr. Ismail Al-Qan, Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and Dr. Amani Shaker, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs. Dr. Osama Abu Saada, Dean of the College of Computers and Information, Dr. Rushdi Al-Adawi, General Coordinator of Student Activities, Dr. Ali Abu Shusha, former Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, deans and deans of the university’s colleges, and a group of faculty members, the supporting staff, workers, and university students.
