The president Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky discusses with the officials of the Friedrich-Loeffler- lnstitute in Germany ways of enhancing aspects of joint cooperation between Egypt and Germany in response to an invitation from the German side due to the good international reputation that Kafrelsheikh University enjoys, as it includes a distinguished infrastructure and material and human components and a university hospital comparable to global hospitals, as well as capabilities, equipment and scientific means in the various laboratories of the university, within the framework of the joint cooperation agreement between Kafrelsheikh University and the Friedrich-Loeffler Institute in Germany entitled "Strengthening cooperation with Egypt in the field of security and vital safety".
During his current visit to Germany, the president, accompanied by the vice president for postgraduate studies and research, Prof. Hasan Younis, reviewes the identification of points of cooperation in the next stage, confirming the importance of joint cooperation between Egypt and Germany.
It was also agreed to increase aspects of cooperation in the field of security and vital safety and to expand the field of work in the faculties of the medical and scientific group at the university, in addition to helping to organize workshops at Kafrelsheikh University for staff members, assistant staff and technicians in the field of security and vital safety, and it was also agreed to enhance joint cooperation between the university and the German side, within the framework of the interest in cooperating with African countries by working on joint international projects.
The president states that the visit is held within the state’s interest in developing the system of higher education and scientific research and linking it with prestigious foreign educational institutions, in order to raise the university rank, which makes Egypt one of the beacons of education and scientific research at the regional and international levels.
