Middle East Research Center at Ain Shams University is ready to organize an annual international conference entitled “Water Issues in the Middle East: between Reality and Future” on 16-17 March 2019 under the patronage of the President Prof Dr Abed el Wahab Ezzat and Prof Dr Nazmi Abed el Hamid, the vice president for community service and environment development affairs and chairman of the board of the center.

Water is an element without that animal and plants cannot live as water is the lifeblood from which all creatures’ life begin. The successive civilizations on the banks of the Nile and Mesopotamia are the best evidence that wherever there is water, life and economic and social growth exist.
