This program aims to develop
the professional capacity of staff members in universities and Egyptian High
Institutions donor for Bachelor/ licentiate through providing opportunities for
getting scholarships for ten weeks from 6 July until 14 September 2016 in some
universities of United States of America in one of the following fields:
Renewable Energy Sciences and
Engineering (solar energy - wind energy - amber energy - biofuels - geothermal
energy): chemistry, physics, mathematics, electrical engineering, mechanical
engineering, chemical engineering that those disciplines are directly related
to the renewable energy field (these specialisms do not include petroleum
engineering or nuclear power)
- Public health sciences:
epidemiology, nutrition, health care management, family and community health,
occupational health
- Teaching English as a Second
Language / Linguistics: Applied Linguistics and Teaching English as a foreign
language or a second language (scholarships do not include the specialisms of
English or British literature or American studies)
Scholarships do not include any
individual researches.
The program aims to:
1) Staff members who obtained
Master’s Degree with university teaching experience not less than five years
2) Staff members and Doctorate
students with university teaching experience not less than three years
3) Staff members who obtained
Doctorate with university teaching experience not exceed five years from the
date of obtaining a doctoral degree.
4) It is worth mentioning that the
scholarship convers the monthly salary and cost of travel from and to United
States of America, additional travel expenses, expenses of professional
development and health insurance.
