The president Prof Dr Maged el Kemary opens the events of the first scientific forum of Kafrelsheikh University students in the presence of the vice president for education and students' affairs Prof Dr Mohamed Abu Walli; the vice president for post-graduation studies and research Prof Dr el Saied Hegazy; the vice president for environment affairs and community service, deans, vices of dean and staff members. The students who win the first places do a presentation for their researches and innovative ideas in the themes of engineering, technological and medical sciences as well as social and human sciences.

As well, the president said that the aim of this forum is to create university and research environment for students, support creative and innovative ideas, encourage creative students and the pioneers of distinguished business and honor them, acquire them range of academic and personal skills, enhance the values of cooperation, competition and scientific integrity, publish the culture of teamwork, develop leadership and dialogue skills as well as detect the talents of students and their abilities and strengthen the belonging to homeland in the hearts of students.

 Otherwise, the president mentions that the university will establish the Intellectual Property Office for registration of patents for students and researchers

The team (interested in science) in the Faculty of Science has achieved the prizes of the first place in the field of medicine and pharmacy by the participation with research "breast cancer" and the student Esraa Ibrahim el Sherbini delivers the award on behalf of the team.

In the field of engineering and technology, the student Ahmed Mahmoud el Deeb and the student Mohamed Fathi el Shawadfy, in the Faculty of Engineering, get the first place by the participation with research entitled "self-charging electric car".

From his side, the student Ahmed Rafaat Ganim, the Faculty of Engineering, displays research entitled "terrorism and how to eliminate it intellectually in the field of community intellectual researches" and gets the first place

The events of forum continued by presenting several researches for students winning in the forum and honoring the winning students.

In the end of the forum, the president mentions that the university will organize therapeutic campaigns for early detection of breast cancer in the province by the participation of the female students of the Faculty of Pharmacy as well as the female students of the Faculties of Nursing and Medicine and he also announces that they are about to equip specialized unit for early detection of breast cancer and its remedy in university hospital in Kafrelsheikh University.
