Scientific Authority for Abdel Hamid Shoman Arab for Arab Researchers Award announces about opening the door of nomination for award 2014 in the following scientific specialisms, the last day for receiving nomination requests is on the end of February 2015:

1)      Medical and Health Sciences

·         Genetic diseases and their impact on society (child and family health, and disease anemia)

·           Healthy nutrition (diet, obesity)

2)      Engineering Sciences

·           Environmental Engineering (urban planning, transportation systems)

·           Intelligent Systems (smart and sustainable cities and clean)

3)      Basic Sciences:

·         Bioinformatics

·         Cloud Computing

4)      Arts and Humanities, Social and Administrative Sciences:

·         Child-rearing (home education of pre-school, the impact of multimedia on the composition of the child's personality)

·           Social change and its relationship to cognitive revolution and information and communication technology.

5)      Agricultural Sciences

·         Biodiversity conservation.

·         Improved animal breeds

6)      Applied Sciences:

·         Modern methods of alternative energy and its uses (energy research, modern systems of energy, water desalination)

·         Effects of climate change on the environment.

The prize is awarded in recognition of distinguished scientific product as publication will lead to the increase of scientific and applied recognition and contribute to the solution of priority problems locally, regionally and globally, and spreading  culture of scientific research.

·         The terms of nomination:

1)      The applicant should be Arabian or of Arab origin

2)       The applicant should provide scientific product of scientific and social value for science and community during (2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014) in Arab community

3)      The application should be nominated in writing in recognized university or scientific institution so that nomination book should include brief summary about candidate and explanation of nomination

4)        The full scientific output of candidate should be sent electronically by CD, DVD, USB Memory Stick during the five year mentioned above accompanied by documents and other information requested in the prescribed form, taking into account the full compliance with the instructions of filling application form to facilitate the work of arbitrators.

5)      The winners of one of the AHS Awards Arab researchers in the past should not apply for this award again in the same specialism or in any specialism.

6)      The candidate can send his/her scientific product and documents for institution directly or through his/her university or his scientific institution.

7)      Researches are sent in Arabic or English and Masters and PhDs are not accepted  in the evaluation of scientific research output of the candidate

8)      Application form is applied in specialisms of every field of award fields and this should be determined in application form.

9)      Scientific product and documents will be sent at once and they will not be returned either he/she won or not.

10)  They will not consider the requests which do not abide by the terms of the award or will arrive after the end of nomination period.

11)  The candidate should determine, of necessity, the number of time he/she returns for every research of researches submitted for award, the impact factor and point of publication
