The responsibilities of the sector, headed by Professor Dr. / Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, are as follows:
1. Supervising the preparation of plans and programs that ensure the fulfillment of the university's role in community service and environmental development.
2. Supervising the management of special character units that provide services to non-students, excluding university hospitals.
3. Overseeing university facilities that offer services to non-students.
4. Supervising the implementation of various types of training programs for government and private sector employees, including continuous training or training courses.
5. Overseeing professional and technical training for the public.
6. Supervising the organization of conferences, scientific courses, and public lectures aimed at serving the community and developing the environment.
7. Supervising the conduct of applied research carried out for companies and other entities domestically or abroad.
8. Studying the reports of faculties and recommendations of scientific conferences regarding community service and environmental development before presenting them to the University Council.
9. Following up on the implementation of decisions made by the Supreme Council of Universities and the University Council in matters of community service and environmental development.
