Admission Requirements


 


 General Admission Requirements:

 
1. The student must hold a bachelor's degree in Specific Education from one of the Egyptian universities.
 
2. The student must fulfill all the required documents as determined by the Higher Studies and Research Committee at the college.
 
3. The student must meet any additional requirements set by the specialized department council.
 
4. The student must pay the prescribed tuition fees. This condition does not apply to teaching assistants, assistant lecturers, and scholarship students at the college.
 
Admission and Scholarship Requirements for a Ph.D. in Specific Education:
 
1. The student must hold a master's degree in Specific Education in the relevant specialization from a recognized college or an equivalent degree from another recognized scientific institute with a minimum grade of "Good."
 
2. The student should provide approval from their employer if they are a government employee.
 
3. The student must successfully pass the English language proficiency level as determined by the university regulations before the thesis defense.
 
4. The student is required to undergo a preparatory study for one academic year from the date of enrollment.
 
5. The student must pass a serious subject to register their research project after at least one year from the date of enrollment, based on the proposal of the specialized department council.
 
6. The student will be publicly examined by the assessment committee after a minimum of two years from the date of registering the research topic, provided that the student has successfully completed the preparatory courses.
 
7. In case of a substantial change in the research topic, the date of approval by the college council for the change will be considered the new registration date.
 
8. The minimum duration of study to obtain a Ph.D. in Specific Education in different specializations is at least three years from the date of approval by the college council for the student's enrollment in the degree program.
