Brief history of the college:

In the context of meeting the needs of Kafr El Sheikh Governorate and the surrounding governorates for specialists in the field of physical therapy and achieving a comprehensive and integrated health care system, the Faculty of Physiotherapy - Kafr El Sheikh University was established by Republican Decree No. (595) for the year (2013 AD). The study began at the college in the academic year (2013/2014 AD) and the internal academic regulations of the Faculty of Physical Therapy Cairo University were applied in the two-semester system, until the Faculty of Physical Therapy - Kafr El Sheikh University submitted its own bylaw.

Due to the importance of the college’s follow-up to global developments in teaching, the college prepared the internal academic bylaw for the bachelor’s stage with the credit hour system, which uses new and advanced teaching and evaluation methods to raise the quality of education and to provide the graduate with excellent professional skills to compete in the fields of work and to contribute to the sustainable development of society.
