The president, Prof. Abdelrazek Desouky, says that the university administration is keen to organize the environmental camp periodically to exchange experiences among university students, increase the area of green areas at the university, and consolidate the concept of environmental commitment among students.
The president adds that the camp includes planting a group of trees inside the university, and training for members of the university scouts, within the framework of the university's interest in developing students' skills and investing their energies, as scouting is considered one of the best activities that help develop young people physically, socially and culturally, as well as providing them with skills and experiences that benefit them in their practical lives.
Prof. Dr. Mohammed Abed El-Aal, Vice President for Education and Students’ Affairs, praises the efforts, encouragement and support of the university leaders for students for all the various student activities throughout the academic year, including the organization of camps and sportive, cultural, artistic and scientific forums, stressing that the scouting activity instills in the hearts of young people the strengthening of belonging to the university, community service, instilling values and morals and maintaining the cleanliness of the environment.
