A number of specialized professors from the Faculties of Medicine, and Nursing participate in the convoy, as a large number of citizens are examined in various medical specialties, which include “Ophthalmology - Dermatology - Cardiovascular - Pediatric - Neuro Surgery - Urology - Cardio-thoracic Surgery - Orthopedic Surgery - Internal Medicine - Diabetes and Endocrinology - General Surgery - Oto-Rhino-Laryngology (ENT) - Obstetrics and Gynecology - Dentistry – Prosthetics,” under the supervision of Dr. Taha Ismail, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, and Dr. Wael El-Feki, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs.
Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, President of the University, confirms that the University will continue to launch medical, developmental and awareness convoys to the most needy cities and villages across the country. The convoy includes an elite group of staff members representing various specializations from distinguished cadres from the Faculties of Medicine and Nursing.
The President directs the continuation of launching medical and development awareness convoys to the neediest areas in all centers of Kafrelsheikh Governorate, with the aim of conducting medical examinations and providing free treatment.
Otherwise, Dr Amany Shaker adds that the medical convoy witnesses a great turnout from the people and some cases are transferred to the university hospital to conduct the necessary tests and x-rays to diagnose their condition and a large number of residents of Al-Zahraa village in Baltim Center, Kafrelsheikh Governorate, are medically examined, bringing the total number of cases that are medically examined to 906, by a group of specialized and distinguished doctors in various specialties, within the initiative of a dignified life, and free drugs are provided to all patients.
