The President invites Researchers to participate in the Third Session of the National Initiative for Smart Green Projects

Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, President of the University, announces the launch of the marathon of the third session of the National Initiative for Smart Green Projects, which is implemented by the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development in cooperation between various ministries, government agencies, international institutions and United Nations organizations in order to support qualified and winning projects, in addition to networking the winning projects with various funding bodies.

The President calls on researchers to register on the initiative link and quickly participate in the various categories of the initiative, in accordance with the required standards and to submit research projects that provide innovative solutions to the various challenges facing the environment, preserve natural resources, and projects that enhance energy and resource efficiency, and provide solutions to issues of food security, water security, ecosystem services, biodiversity, and other researches that contribute to mitigating the effects of climate change.

The Smart Green Projects Initiative includes six categories: large-scale projects, medium-sized projects, small local projects (especially linked to the Dignified Life Initiative), start-up projects, development projects related to women, climate change and sustainability, and non-profit community initiatives and participations.
