An Educational Symposium entitled: “Green Architecture and Climate Change Adaptation” at the Faculty of Dentistry

 The Community Service and Environmental Development Sector organizes an educational symposium entitled: “Green Architecture and Climate Change Adaptation” at the Faculty of Dentistry, under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, President of the University, and Dr. Amany Shaker, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, in celebration of World Environment Day, in the presence of Dr. Enas El Gendy, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry.

 Dr. Mohamed Qadab, Head of the Central Administration of the Regional Branch of the Environmental Affairs Agency in Central Delta, and Dr. Dalia Shibl, Assistant Professor of Architecture at the Faculty of Engineering, Kafrelsheikh University, lecture in the symposium.

Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, President of the University, confirms the university’s efforts and contributions to the issue of climate change, as the university provides scientific and research contributions to confronting the challenges of the impact of climate change, considering that climate change is one of the topics most compatible with Egypt’s strategic vision 2030, given the importance of this file, confirming the university's keenness to achieve sustainable development goals in various sectors inside and outside the university, pointing out that World Environment Day is an opportunity to work towards a more sustainable future through environmentally friendly practices and sustainable lifestyles.

Otherwise, Dr. Amany Shaker, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, confirms that climate change is one of the most pressing global issues at the present time, pointing to the importance of raising environmental awareness for all members of society, encouraging energy saving, urging the reduction of pollutants, and disseminating environmental awareness, to reduce our dependence on oil as the primary source of energy and exploit renewable energy sources such as solar and wind energy.
