The University Council grants Master's and Doctoral Degrees to some Researchers in various Faculties

 Today, Monday, the University Council, headed by Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, President of the University, holds its regular session in the Council Hall, to discuss a number of topics related to the educational and research process, and to review the developments and topics presented to the Council, in the presence of Dr. Mohammed Abd El-Aal, Vice President for Education and Students’ Affairs; Dr. Ismail Al-Qon, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research; Dr. Amany Shaker, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs; Dr. Ali Sabry, Secretary-General of the University, the deans, Counselor Abd Allah Ghallab, the  legal advisor, and Dr. Muhammad Abu Wali, Director of the Quality Assurance Center.

The President reviews the issues related to the educational process, in which the Council approved the appointment to the position of professor for 2 staff members in the Faculties of Veterinary Medicine and Specific Education, the appointment to the position of Assistant Professor for 4 staff members in the Faculties of Arts and Agriculture, and the appointment to the position of lecturer for 4 assistant staff in the Faculties of Dentistry, Medicine, and Engineering.

The University Council also approves the granting of Doctoral Degree to 15 researchers in the Faculties of Education, Agriculture, and Arts, and a Master’s Degree was granted to 33 researchers in the Faculties of Education, Agriculture, Commerce, Pharmacy, Veterinary Medicine, Arts, and Fisheries.

The University Council also approves granting professional doctorate degree to 11 researchers in the Faculty of Commerce, and granting professional master’s degree to 49 researchers in the Faculty of Commerce.

 

The President also directs the deans to the intensify the university’s efforts, stressing that the university will continue to launch medical, veterinary and agricultural convoys, educational seminars, and various events and activities, and to contribute positively to building capabilities in the health, environmental, veterinary and social fields, in cooperation with the “Dignified Life” initiative, to activate the university’s role in community service and environmental development at the governorate level.
