Second: Announcement of applications to study in Egyptian universities for international students for the academic year 2023/2024

Study in Egypt initiative

The Central Administration for International Student Affairs at the Egyptian Ministry of Higher Education announces the opening of applications to study in public, private, Ahlia and technological universities and Egyptian institutes for international students for the academic year 2023/2024, the postgraduate stage within the Study in Egypt initiative launched by the Egyptian Ministry of Higher Education on the website starting from 7/1/2023 until 5/31/2024.

How to apply:

1)      The student applies via the website of the Study in Egypt platform http://admission.study-in-egypt.gov.eg

2)       The student uploads copies of the required documents to the website.

3)      The student chooses his/her own desires, with a minimum of (1) desire and a maximum of (3) desires.

4)      If the student does not complete all the documents, he/she will be contacted through his own account via the “Study in Egypt” platform website to complete the requirements, then the re-examination process will take place within 5 days.

5)      The result of the initial nomination of applicants will be announced via the website.

6)      After the initial nomination, the student submits the original file and complete documents to the university within the specified date.

Terms of Application:

1.      The applicant must be of non-Egyptian nationality.

2.      The student must be a newcomer.

3.      A student who has been accepted since two years ago is allowed to apply again.

4.      The student applies via the official website of the Study in Egypt platform https://admission.study-in-egypt.gov.eg

5.      No student will be accepted into universities without initial nomination on the Study in Egypt platform

Documents required to apply on the Study in Egypt platform: -

1.      A copy of the academic certificate

2.      A copy of a valid passport or refugee card

3.      A copy of the grades statement

4.      A copy of the certificate equivalence from the Supreme Council of Universities or a copy of the electronic equivalence request report from the website of the Supreme Council of Universities (https://equ.scu.eg)

5.      A copy of the master’s degree or diploma certificate for applying for the Master’s Degree and Doctoral stages.

6.      A copy of the payment receipt in the case of a bank deposit - payment receipts for services: the application service on the website is 170 dollars - the coordination service is 170 dollars - the international student club subscription service is 150 dollars for each academic year - the nomination modification is 150 dollars- Postponing the registration 150 dollars - Re-nomination 150 US dollars - Transferring from inside 150 dollars - enrollment fees for the first time are 1500 dollars.

Required Documents:

1.      The Original of academic qualifications

2.      The original of equivalence certificate for the last academic qualification from the Supreme Council of Universities, accredited (if the qualification was obtained from outside Egypt)

3.       A copy of the equivalence request report electronically from the website of the Supreme Council of Universities: https://equ.scu.eg

4.      The original of study completion certificate at the undergraduate stage and its equivalence from the Supreme Council of Universities in case that the qualification was obtained from outside the Arab Republic of Egypt, in case of applying for academic degrees that require this.
