The president Prof Dr
Maged el Kemary, the dean of the faculty of Agriculture Prof Dr Atef Youssef
Salem, Prof Dr el Saied Mohamed Khalifa and Prof Dr Mohamed Abed el Aziz el
Taweel survey graduation project for the year 2012 which are done by a group of
students of agricultural engineering department under the supervision of Prof
Dr Mohamed Abed el Aziz el Taweel as they innovate self-propelled agricultural
machine without a driver powered by solar energy and with an automatic control.
The president listens
to a brief explanation about the idea of this machine and it is run in the
presence of many students and visitors. Besides, the president praises this
innovation, congratulates and thanks them for the great effort they do to make
this project succeeded. Also, he asks Dr Mohamed el Taweel (the supervisor) to
finish the procedures rapidly and register it in the Research Academy.
The project goals:
- The Innovation of self-propelled agricultural machine
without a driver powered by solar energy and with an automatic control.
- The evaluation of machine performance under the
conditions of field and the variables of different operation.
- The use of clean energy in the process of operation.
- The definition of solar energy importance and the
possibilities of its use.
- The production of machine characterized by high
efficiency.
- The production of machine with simple materials
manufactured locally at low cost.
- The reduction of maintenance rate for this machine.
- The decline of manpower in the agricultural operations
while they can use other manpower in the operations of manufacturing this
machine.
