Under the authority of the president Prof Dr Maged el Kemary, Kafrelsheikh University hosts today Wednesday 10/5/2017 Prof Dr Mahmoud Abed el Kader Hashim who discourses a lecture entitled “the use of light for the diagnosis of malignant tumors and control of harmful insects”.

The symposium begins with the speech of the president Prof Dr Maged el Kemary who welcomes the attendants and the president of German University and introduce him who has been the president of German University since 2002 and has got Doctorate in Spectroscopy and Photochemistry from University of Stuttgart in Germany and a postdoctoral fellowship from Karlsruhe University from 1982 to 1983 as well as he was pointed in the position of the agent of National Institute for Advanced Laser Sciences at Cairo University along with many other positions.

In a related context, Prof Dr Mahmoud Abed el Kader expresses his happiness for his presence inside Kafrelsheikh University which is on the road of progress among global universities and says that what he has seen in the university is more than creativity and the university has scientific and research possibilities, making it an example to follow among Egyptian Universities.

As well, he speaks about how to use light in the diagnosis and treatment of malignant tumors and how to control harmful insects in the presence of staff members and students from various difficulties.

The president Prof Dr Maged el Kemary presents the university shield for Prof Dr Mahmoud Abed el Kader in honor and appreciation of his sovereignty and thanks him for his visit to Kafrelsheikh University.

The seminar ends with an agreement to establish the first phototherapy center for treatment of tumors in cooperation with German University in Cairo and many specialized professors in this field.
