King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz International Center Award for Arabic language service is launched; it is international appreciation award awarded by the center every two years in two branches. The first is special for scientists (topic:  scientists' efforts in the field of teaching Arabic Language for children) and second is particular for specialized institutions which present distinct projects in service of Arabic Language (topic: Institutions involved in teaching Arabic to non-native speakers). The winner is granted in each branch of the amount 750000SR.
