Under
the authority of the vice president for post-graduation studies and research,
Post-graduation studies council on Sunday 19 January 2014 represents scientific
cooperation contract between Kafrelsheikh University and Bremen University,
Germany, which aims to encourage cooperation between two parties in the field
of higher education as provided in the regulations in both countries as well as
exchange experiences and mutual business in the field of information and
research, encourage mutual research projects financed by one of them or both
and financed from governmental scholarships, provide the opportunity for staff
members and researches to attend conference and seminars held by every
university as well as exchange visits of officials from both sides to consult
regarding the curriculum and teaching methods and to facilitate the admission
of students for postgraduate studies as well as allow many students from both universities for
summer training on the other side and the provision of suitable accommodation
for faculty members, students and support them academically, socially and
culturally.
- The council agrees the following:
1) Genetics
Department, the Faculty of Agriculture, hosts Egyptian Society Conference of
Genetics Sciences, which will be held for three days in October.
2) The
extension of mission of Dr Rashad Aziz Rashad Hegazi, lecturer in Agricultural
Engineering Department, granted from international institute of rice researches
in Philippines, for another year from 15/2/2014 until 14/2/2015 without expenses
from university or the faculty.
3) The
extension of foreign mission for the researcher Mohamed Mostafa Abed el Mageed,
administrator in English Language in the Faculty of Arts and the member of
foreign mission in Indiana University, USA, to be granted Doctorate Degree for
the seventh year from 10/4/2013 until 9/4/2014 without a salary at his own
expenses to finish Doctorate thesis and determine the date of discussion. The
council urges the researcher to complete his thesis through this year.
