The president Prof Dr Maged el Kemary signed an understanding memorandum between Warsaw University and Kafrelsheikh University in Poland.

These agreements include the exchange of staff members and students as well as participation in mutual research projects in the field of Climate Geology. They will start with project with Geology Department in the faculty of Science about the study of climatic changes in Delta region and it is applied to all faculties.

Otherwise, the scientists of climate Geology in Warsaw University will visit the sites of Idku, Manzala, Burullus, Mariout, Moeris lakes to conduct exploratory studies according to mutual research project between the department of Geology in the faculty of Science and the Faculty of Geology in Warsaw in Poland.

The team includes Prof Lazaks Mark, Prof Grace Nettichurk and Dr Fabian Wilk from Polish side as well as the vice president for postgraduate studies and research and the vice dean of the faculty of Science for postgraduate studies and research from Egyptian side.
