The president Prof Dr Mohammad Safaan, minister of Manpower, Prof Dr Ismail Abed el Hamid Taha and Prof Dr Ali Abu Shoshaa, the vice president for community service and environment affairs inaugurate the events of “Occupational Safety and Health Forum ‘Safety and Security’.”
Prof Dr Ali Abu Shoshaa stresses that Kafrelsheikh University has qualifications to qualify youth and train them for the progress of the state as its aim is education for employment and seeks to link the university with labor market so that the graduate can find the suitable project and benefit the community.
As well, he stresses that this forum is held for the keenness of the state to employ youth and enhance the job opportunities especially in private sector, which is one of wings of development.
Dr Ismail Taha, Kafrelsheikh governor, says that he is happy with this scene of revered ministry, a promising province and an ancient university that refers to sophistication and a steady pace of development as our aim is Egyptian citizen, pointing out that he is pleased to pay tribute to Ministry of Manpower that works to secure work environment and develop human resources as well as raise awareness of employees for their rights and duties, which will raise the efficiency of employees and their progress in various fields.
From his side, Prof Dr Mohammad Safaan, the minister of Manpower, stresses that this forum aims to inform participants about the concept of occupational safety and health, its aims and its national legislations and to enable them to analyze and evaluate work risks, crisis and disaster management, emergency plans, checking and detecting accidents so they can be avoided, raise the performance level on training on a sophisticated work method as well as prepare the trainee to take on new responsibilities.
Mr Safaan points out that his meeting with Kafrelsheikh University students comes within the framework of instructions of the President Abed el Fatah el Sisi to organize seminars for ministers and officials at different universities in Egypt to communicate permanently with students, clarify various challenges as well as explain plans of every ministry and its efforts to improve the services provided to citizens, stressing that youth sector comes at the top priorities of the Egyptian state especially university students. These meeting are aimed at encouraging youth to set up small projects, training and rehabilitating them on many skills for labor market to have an integrated personality when graduation.
After the opening, the minister distributes 536 safety certificates for irregular labor, within the initiative of President Abed el Fatah el Sisi for the care and protection this category healthily, socially and insurance as it represents a large segment of Egyptian Society.
