Under the patronage of H.E. Prof. Dr. Maged
ElKemary Kafrelsheikh University ‘ president and a continuation of
collaboration with Fedral Institute for coastal Researches at the East China University of
Shanghai, an Egyptian –Chinese workshop
has been conducted today Monday
2/10/2017 at Faculty of Science, Kafrelsheikh
University
with title: “Development of coastal and
archaeological environments in both the Nile Delta in Egypt and the Yangtze
Delta in China During the Holocene era “with participation of eight Chinese
professors.
It is worth mentioning that this research project is one of outcomes of” scientific Collaboration between Kafrelsheikh University ‘&East China University of Shanghai, also between Faculty of Science & Federal Institute for coastal Researches of China University, which summarized in a form of studying cultural, technological and archaeological development of Nile Delta Over the past ten thousand years in comparison of the Yangtze Delta in China.
As the outcome for this longitudinal collaboration several researches have been published in international Journals, also an exchange of both post- graduate students, and academic staff as well, moreover, and currently we have Egyptian students are studying at East of China University within this broad project. In addition, the results of past studies help in Environmental assessment of coastal delta lakes and the effect of climate change in the development of the Delta during this important period of time.
The main aim of the current studies are directed to do more scientific researches, & exchange of postgraduates of both parties.
