In line with the university policy to support and embrace the inventive and innovative students, the president Prof Dr Maged el Kemary opens today Wednesday 19/4/2017 (the regional fair in the Delta for innovation portal competition) for students of technical education and professional training, faculties and technological institutions at the level of all governorates in many fields (engineering, energy, agriculture, community and tourism).

The president Prof Dr Maged el Kemary begins his speech by welcoming the attendances expressing his happiness to be in such forum sponsored by innovation portal as innovation is the base of knowledge economy that depends on innovative ideas, not by stereotyped thinking that do not help in solving chronic problems.

As well, he adds that the solution of such chronic problems needs to innovative and creative thought that depends on transforming researchers to ideas into products marketed to be a source of foreign currency which will improve countries’ income and raise the level of people's living standards, stressing the need to pay attention to innovative thinking to get out of economic crises that countries suffer from and the solutions of these crises is through distinguished education that does not depend on conservation through the development of curriculum and teaching methods and transformation of students from recipient to the owner of creative thought and this will be generalized for technical education as it is nerve of a successful economy in terms of adopting creative and innovative minds.

He adds that Kafrelsheikh University celebrates the innovative and creative students and all university capabilities are dedicated to adopt such ideas and work on its support and embrace.

At the end of meeting, he does a survey in the fair to see innovations and inventions of the participating students.
