The Deans’ Council of Kafrelsheikh University, chaired by Prof. Ismail Ismail Ibrahim, Acting President of Kafrelsheikh University, holds its regular session today, Tuesday, September 9, 2025, in the council hall to discuss several issues related to the educational and research process and to review updates and agenda items presented to the council.
During the meeting, Prof. Ismail Ismail Ibrahim confirms the need to follow up the university’s readiness and its various units for the start of the new academic year 2025/2026, and to complete all required preparations and arrangements in accordance with the academic calendar approved by the Supreme Council of Universities, and within the framework of the university’s strategy to provide an academic environment that enables students to excel and succeed. He also directs that medical examinations for newly enrolled students in the various faculties be closely followed up.
The President of Kafrelsheikh University highlights the importance of implementing diverse student activity plans and providing full support to outstanding talents. He confirms the university’s keenness to encourage student activities in various fields and their role in shaping the personality of university students. He clarifies that student activities aim to foster a spirit of competition among students, raise their awareness and cultural knowledge, enabling them to contribute to society and the future, and to create a positive model with scientific and cultural leadership.
The President of Kafrelsheikh University also directs the Deans’ Council to expand awareness campaigns against all forms of bullying, confirming the university’s commitment to raising students’ awareness of major societal issues and equipping them with the knowledge needed to confront negative phenomena such as bullying, thereby helping to build a safe and supportive university community.
Prof. Ismail Ismail Ibrahim further confirms the importance of increasing the output of scientific research and innovations to serve the national economy, in line with the strategic plan of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to enhance the quality of research outputs in accordance with Egypt’s Vision 2030.
The Deans’ Council also reviews the progress of quality assurance and the status of faculties regarding institutional and program accreditation. The Acting President reaffirms the university’s constant commitment to supporting and developing the educational process in accordance with quality standards, to graduate students capable of competing in both domestic and international labor markets. He confirms that the university spares no effort in providing all necessary support to raise institutional capacity and educational effectiveness in all faculties, to obtain accreditation and compete with peer institutions in Egyptian, Arab, and international universities, ensuring the quality of education and scientific research.
Finally, the President of Kafrelsheikh University confirms the continuation of launching comprehensive development convoys to the most in-need villages, providing full support to citizens, and meeting their needs in various fields to reinforce the state’s developmental efforts.
