The Launch of Student Union Elections at Kafrelsheikh University with the Participation of the Students for Egypt Family

 Today, Thursday, 14/11/2024, Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, President of the University, witnesses the launch of the Student Union Elections Marathon activities at the university level, as the marathon begins with the participation of the Students for Egypt Family, coinciding with this event, a commemorative photo is taken with the university leaders in front of the conference hall building at the university headquarters, in an expressive gesture of the unity and cooperation of the university members in this important event.

The president points out that the university provides all possible means of support to student unions, as they are an essential part of the educational system, which aims to prepare students not only academically, but also socially and nationally, confirming that the university will continue to enhance these student activities in developing the student’s personality and preparing him to contribute effectively to society, explaining that the student elections is held within the framework of the university’s support to enhance the role of students in decision-making and effective participation in university life, which contributes to forming a generation of young people capable of bearing responsibility and contributing effectively to Egyptian society.

Otherwise, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdelaal, Vice President of the University for Education and Students’ Affairs, points out that student unions work to deepen the foundations of democracy, human rights and citizenship among university students, in addition to encouraging the spirit of cooperation and teamwork while ensuring freedom of expression of opinions within the framework of university traditions and customs.

In a related context, Dr. Ahmed Darag, the general coordinator of the “Students for Egypt” family, states that student unions are legitimate organizations that represent students of faculties and institutes in various Egyptian universities, and that the goal of the unions is to develop spiritual and moral values ??among students, and to consolidate national and nationalist awareness, as well as to enhance the value of belonging and loyalty to the homeland.

 

On the sidelines of the launch of the student union elections, a documentary film is shown that covers the various activities carried out by the student union, in addition to showing another film about the activities of the “Students for Egypt” family, which reflects the vital and effective role it plays in developing national and spiritual values ??among university students.
