With the beginning of the third stage for development projects (the stage of globalization and excellence: 2012/2017) and the recognition of Continuous Improvement and Qualifying for Accreditation Project for the importance of publication awards in raising the level of governmental Egyptian universities scientifically and internationally and for achieving the goals of third phase, they find a component to finance competitive prizes for staff for excellence in publication awards to raise the abilities of research and publication awards in universities over the international level and to help to be improved in international classification in Egyptian universities (20 prizes and every one is 100 thousand Egyptian pounds). It is divided into two parties: the first part is 50 thousand Egyptian pounds for the authors of research and the second part is 50 thousand pounds for the support of research environment in educational institution of research.

On the other hand, Continuous Improvement and Qualifying for Accreditation Project announces about opening the door for prizes of excellence in publication awards for the researches published in 2010 and 2011 for staff in faculties and governmental institutions is opened to present application form on 18 October 2012.
