Objectives :

1. To provide an integrated academic program leading to the Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry at the Faculty of Science, Kafrelsheikh University, in a manner that keeps pace with recent scientific developments and responds to future trends in this field.

 

2. To equip students with the fundamental knowledge and skills related to the principles of biochemistry, qualifying them to work in relevant fields, including medical laboratory sciences, in accordance with applicable professional and regulatory requirements.

 

3. To broaden students’ scientific knowledge in biochemistry and strengthen its integration with the various branches of chemistry and other related basic and applied sciences.

 

4. To provide students with a comprehensive scientific background and appropriate practical skills that enable them to keep pace with scientific and technological advancements and meet the actual needs of the labor market.

 

5. To prepare specialized scientific professionals in biochemistry who are capable of contributing to the resolution of industrial, medical, and research-related problems through the application of scientific knowledge and modern technologies.

 

6. To prepare distinguished graduates who possess a high level of scientific and academic competence in accordance with international standards, enabling them to compete for scholarships and opportunities to pursue postgraduate studies both in Egypt and abroad.

 

7. To meet the needs of the local and regional labor markets by preparing graduates equipped with the scientific knowledge, practical skills, and professional competencies required for various positions in biochemistry and related fields.

 

8-To contribute to fulfilling the mission of the Faculty of Science, Kafrelsheikh University, which aims to prepare highly competent graduates in various scientific disciplines who are capable of competing in the labor market and conducting advanced scientific research and studies relevant to societal needs and national development plans. The program is also committed to supporting education in the basic and applied sciences and strengthening cooperation and partnerships with production sectors and various community institutions, thereby enhancing graduates’ capabilities and expanding their employment opportunities.
