Prof. Dr. Abdel Razek Desouky, President of the University, participated in the march of "Love and Peace between the Nile Basin Countries", in the presence of a number of Egyptian university presidents, and Dr. Nahla El-Saedy, Advisor to the Sheikh of Al-Azhar for Expatriate Affairs, on the sidelines of the Supreme Council of Universities in Luxor Governorate. .

The march, organized by the Department of International Students and Scholarships at Luxor University, started in front of the Karnak Temple, as part of the activities of the Love and Peace Initiative among the Nile Basin countries, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and Prof. Dr. Hamdy Mohamed Hussein, President of Luxor University.

A number of foreign students and scholarship students from various Egyptian universities participated in the march. During the march, the students raised the flags of the participating countries in the Nile River Basin.
