The leadership preparation delegation of the General Administration of Student Welfare at the university, in cooperation with the Student Union, participates in the training program for preparing the Arab leader, which is organized by the Leadership Development Institute, and is held during the period from 3 to 8 February 2023 AD in Luxor,
This comes in line with the declaration of 2023 as the year of Arab youth, and this participation comes in implementation of the initiative of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, and in fulfillment of the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to pay attention to joint Arab cooperation.
The training program is held under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, Prof. Dr. Amr Ezzat Salama, Secretary General of the Association of Arab Universities, and Prof. Dr. Karim Hammam, Director of the Leadership Development Institute. The university delegation participated under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Abdel-Razek Desouki, President of the University, and the leadership of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel-Aal, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and the supervision of Prof. Dr. Rushdi El-Adawy, General Coordinator of Student Activities at the University.
Within the framework of this training program, experiences are exchanged between Arab countries. To create and create intellectual capital, reveal the potentials of young people, develop their skills, develop their abilities, and prepare them to assume responsibility for the future and achieve the sustainability of countries and organizations,
It is noteworthy that university students are participating with their fellow students from Egyptian and Arab universities within the activities of the training program that includes 16 Arab countries, which aims to prepare Arab leaders who rise to represent their universities and countries in various forums.
