Fulbright Commission announces about chances for application of Fulbright scholarships program.

Fulbright Junior Faculty Development Program aims to develop professional abilities of staff members in universities and Egyptian Higher Institutions granting for Bachelor degree (enclosed with criteria of selection of applicants for scholarships) through providing an opportunities for getting scholarships for ten weeks on the period from 8^th July to 16^th September 2018 in some universities in United States of America in one of the following fields:

1)      Renewable Energy Sciences and Engineering (solar energy, wind energy, hydropower energy, biofuel and geothermal energy): chemistry, physics, mathematics, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering and specialties is related directly to renewable energy field (scholarships do not include specialties of petroleum engineering or nuclear energy).

2)      Public Health sciences: epidemics, nutrition, Health care services management, Family and Community Health and professional Health

3)      Teaching English as a second language/ linguistics: applied linguistics, teaching English as foreign language or second language (scholarships do not include specialties of English or American literature or American studies)

·         Scholarships do not include any individual researches

The program targets:

1)      Staff members with Master’s Degree with university teaching experience not less than five years

2)      Staff members “Doctorate candidates” with university teaching experience not less than five years

3)      Staff member with Doctorate degree with university teaching experience not exceeding five years from the date of obtaining Doctorate degree.

It is worth mentioning that the scholarship covers monthly salary, travel cost from and to United States of America, additional travel expenses, professional development expenses, accommodation and health insurance.
