UNESCO calls for Stimulating the Innovative Use of Information and Communication Technology for Disadvantaged Groups

The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) announces about UNESCO Award­­- King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa Award of Information and Communication Technology in the field of education for the year 2016.

UNESCO mentions that the award theme will be the use of information and communication technology to teach the disadvantaged groups and the thirtieth of September will be the last date for submission of nominations. The nomination forms can be downloaded through the official website of UNESCO.

It is worth mentioning that this award will be presented for the eighth time in an official ceremony held in UNESCO organization in Paris in the beginning of the year 2017 for two winners and its value is 25000 US dollars for each winner.
