The supreme
council of Education and Students’ Affairs is held today in the Faculty of
Science at Kafrelsheikh University which hosts the fourth student union youth
week this year in the presence of the Major General el Saied Nasr, Kafrelsheikh
Mayor; Dr Ashraf Hatim, the head of the Supreme Council of Education and
Students’ Affairs, the President Prof Dr Maged el Kemary and number of the
presidents and the vices president of Egyptian Universities.
In the
beginning, Prof Dr el Kemary welcomes the attendants and thanks the Ministry of
Higher Education saying that “Kafrelsheikh University nascent made amazing
steps on the architectural and academic level to provide modern and integrated
infrastructure for the service of educational and research process in different
specialists and scientific fields with the support of the state and in belief
of the state will all its institutions and ministries that the distinct
educational is to ensure the future of youth, elevate the value of science and emphasize
the support of our wise leadership for the institutions of education as well as
appreciate the education institutions and educational institution that confirms
with its outstanding achievements the importance of the role played by
education in achieving comprehensive development”.
From his
side, Dr Ashraf el Shehhi, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific
Research praises the efforts of employees at Kafrelsheikh University, good
organization and the high level of the university. He also assures that the
ministry seek during the coming period to increase the expansion in building
more Universities in Egypt, increase the number of enrollment in the new
universities for the service of different provinces and job market with the
best graduates.
As well, the
council discusses the increase of ratio allocated for the students obtaining
the Egyptian high school certificate in science and technology to enroll
on Egyptian Universities as well as provide scholarships for those students in
the universities such as Nile, Zewail, the Egyptian-Japanese specialist in
advanced sciences and technology.
The minister
points out the need to benefit from knowledge bank and educational material
that contains and the people with disability can benefit from it to develop
their educational and scientific skills.
