The president Prof Dr Maged el Kemary surveyed the university hospital and demanded the executing company for quickly completion and finishing of equipping the hospital in preparation for its opening. 

He also visited the hemodialysis unit which is the first unit specialized for children with kidney failure in Kafrelsheikh province.

As well, he decided to add new unit for intensive care in the hospital with a capacity of 16 additional beds to be the total of number of ICU beds 59 to increase the operational efficiency of hospital.

The kemary mentions that the hospital will be provided with information systems which consist of information systems of information rooms, information systems of emergency rooms, of pharmacies, of medical records and of radiology and mammography.
