Prof. Yahya Zakaria Eid, President of the University, chairs the University Council meeting for September 2026, attended by the Vice Presidents of the University, the Secretary-General of the University, the Deans of the Faculties, and members of the Council, within the framework of continuous follow-up of academic and administrative work files, enhancing the readiness of the university’s sectors for the launch of the new academic year 2026/2027, and continuing the implementation of development plans and elevating the level of performance in various fields.
During its meeting, the Council reviews a number of topics and files related to the course of university work, follow-up on the regularity of studies in the faculties, and preparations for the new academic year, ensuring the provision of a stable, safe, and stimulating educational environment for students, in addition to following up on plans to develop the educational process and academic programs, and elevating the level of services provided to students.
The meeting also addresses the files of postgraduate studies and scientific research, supporting researchers, encouraging distinguished scientific production, enhancing research cooperation, and linking the outcomes of scientific research to the needs of society and development priorities, thereby contributing to increasing the university’s societal impact and enhancing its competitive capacity at the local and international levels.
The meeting also witnesses the follow-up of a number of files related to community service and environmental development, and maximizing the benefit from the university’s capabilities and its special-character centers and units, thereby supporting the role of Kafrelsheikh University as an active partner in serving society and contributing to the achievement of sustainable development goals.
Prof. Yahya Zakaria Eid affirms that Kafrelsheikh University continues to work according to an integrated vision aimed at building a more developed and flexible university system based on the quality of education, supporting scientific research, enhancing innovation, and benefiting from modern technological developments, foremost among them artificial intelligence applications, data analysis, and digital transformation across the various sectors of the university.
The President says: “We begin a new academic year with a clear vision based on the quality of education, supporting scientific research, building a well-rounded student personality, and providing a university environment that stimulates learning, creativity, and innovation. We continue to work so that Kafrelsheikh University becomes more capable of keeping pace with the requirements of the future and the labor market.”
Prof. Yahya Zakaria Eid confirms the necessity of continuous field follow-up and adherence to the established plans, and attention to the quality of educational, administrative, medical, and student services, thereby enhancing the quality of university life and confirming the standing of Kafrelsheikh University as an educational, research, and community institution working according to a clear vision of sustainable development.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the President of Kafrelsheikh University affirms that the university continues to implement its development plan, maximize the benefit from its human, scientific, and material capabilities, support young cadres, encourage innovation and entrepreneurship, and enhance local and international partnerships, thereby contributing to the preparation of graduates who possess knowledge, skills, and the ability to compete, and enhancing the university’s contribution to the path of development and building the New Republic.
