Kafrelsheikh University Council – August 2025

The Council of Kafrelsheikh University, chaired by Prof. Ismail Ismail Ibrahim, Acting President of the University, and attended by Major General Dr. Alaa Abdel-Moaty, Governor of Kafrelsheikh, holds its regular session today, Wednesday, August 27, 2025, in the Council Hall to discuss a number of issues related to the educational and research process and to review the updates and matters presented to the Council.

Prof Ismail Ismail Ibrahim, Acting President of Kafrelsheikh University, opens the session by welcoming Major General Dr. Alaa Abdel-Moaty, Governor of Kafrelsheikh, praising his great efforts in serving the governorate, and expressing his sincere gratitude and appreciation for the Governor’s unlimited support of the University. He confirms that Kafrelsheikh University will remain the intellectual and scientific arm of the governorate, dedicating all its capabilities to serving the community and its people.

The Governor also points out that the latest statistics for Kafrelsheikh Governorate confirm its remarkable progress among Egyptian governorates, thanks to developmental achievements and service projects that directly impact citizens’ lives. He confirms that teamwork among state institutions is the key to serving the people of the governorate, reaffirming his continuous support for Kafrelsheikh University as the intellectual and scientific arm of the governorate, especially with the approach of the new academic year.

Prof. Ismail Ismail Ibrahim then reviews the most important issues discussed across the University’s sectors in August 2025, including the Education and Students’ Affairs Sector, Postgraduate Studies and Research Sector, and the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector, highlighting the many events, seminars, and meetings held.

He confirms the importance of unity and cooperation to ensure that the name of Kafrelsheikh University remains high among local, regional, and international universities, while confirming that Kafrelsheikh National University will also become a scientific landmark no less prestigious than the governmental university.

The Council also approved the following:

1)      Appointment of 4 Professors, 7 Associate Professors, and 4 Lecturers.

2)      Granting Master’s Degree to 32 researchers and Doctorate Degree to 14 researchers.

 

3)      Granting Professional Master’s Degree to 13 researchers and Professional Doctorate Degree to 45 researchers.
