In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

“I only desire reform to the best of my ability. And my success is only through Allah.”

— The Almighty has spoken the truth

Your Excellencies and Honorable Guests,

Esteemed members of the university family,

Beloved people of my dear Governorate of Kafrelsheikh,

Noble sons and daughters of our homeland,

With a heart overflowing with gratitude and a spirit filled with reverence, I stand before you today at the close of a six-year journey—an era that has been the greatest honor of my life. A journey that was never mine alone, but rather a collective epic whose chapters you all wrote with your faith and determination.

A salute to the steadfast pillars—the university leadership and esteemed staff members: from the depths of my heart, I acknowledge that you are the torchbearers who turned challenges into opportunities and contributed to making our university a beacon of knowledge illuminating the corners of our nation.

To the assistant staff and administrative team: you were the unseen hands that wove the fabric of excellence, proving that devotion to work is a homeland carried in the soul.

To our dear students: you are Egypt’s future in the making—the stars that adorned our university’s sky. May God protect you as pioneers of truth and goodness.

A tribute to our graduates—the ever-shining stars of the sky: you are the testimonies of our success, our loyal ambassadors who carry the university’s message to every sanctuary of knowledge and labor. You remain the bright faces of your alma mater and storytellers of a journey that turned dreams into miracles, raising Egypt’s name high with pride.

A heartfelt salute to our partners in this journey—those who bestowed upon us their precious trust: the loyal people of Kafrelsheikh. The joyful tears of a mother at her child’s graduation and a father’s hopeful smile for a bright future were the fuel that lit our path.

With even deeper gratitude, I extend my sincere appreciation to His Excellency, Prof. Mohamed Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, who was a true pillar of support to our vision, standing by our projects in the most challenging times and smoothing every obstacle so the banner of knowledge could rise high.

I also thank the esteemed Major General Dr. Alaa Abdel Maati, Governor of Kafrelsheikh, our strategic partner, whose unwavering support transformed the university campus into an oasis of knowledge — hand in hand with us in every initiative serving the nation’s youth.

To the Egyptian Government and all regulatory, security, and executive bodies: you were indispensable supporters in our journey of success and excellence.

A tribute to the pinnacle of giving—our wise political leadership, the President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, the first and foremost supporter of higher education and scientific research in service of society, industry, and comprehensive development.

Thank you, the President, for the national projects that have transformed the face of life across beloved Egypt, for investing in the minds of our children, and for empowering our university to be a national institution of global standing. You have truly embodied the meaning of "Egypt Above All."

You have led the renaissance of Kafrelsheikh University, a scholarly rise that placed the university among the world’s leading institutions.

As I entrust this position to my successor, I pledge that, with God’s help, I will remain a devoted soldier in the field of knowledge, ever loyal to the mission I began thirty-seven years ago:

“To educate so we may rise, and to rise so we may endure.”

May Allah protect our beloved Egypt, bless our wise leadership, and guide our cherished university to continue its journey under leadership that holds the same dreams and envisions even broader horizons of achievement.

Peace and blessings be upon you all.

Prof. Abdelrazek Desouky

Former President of Kafrelsheikh University
