The Launch of the Theater Forum for the Students for the Academic Year 2024/2025

 The theater forum for students for the academic year 2024/2025 is launched under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Abdel Razek Desouky, President of the University; Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdelaal, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Rushdy El Adawy, General Coordinator of Student Activities at the University. The event is organized by the Cultural and Artistic Activities Department of the General Administration of Student Welfare, at the theater of the Faculty of Commerce.

Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, President of the University, states that the theatre forum will be held over eight days, with the participation of the Faculties of Nursing, Physical Therapy, Arts, Special Education, Sciences, Medicine, Education, and Veterinary Medicine, confirming the university administration's keenness to implement these creative and cultural activities, which contribute to showcasing and refining students' talents, considering them essential activities that are no less important than academic study, as culture in general and art in particular is what shapes minds and consciences and contributes to building the personality of the university student.

The President praises the activities of the university students' theater forum, as each faculty participates with a theater team of no more than 25 male and female students. He confirms that the theater has educational effects that are not hidden from anyone who is aware of the importance of student activity, as the theater is one of its pillars. He points out the university's constant keenness to support young talents among the university students and assist them to express what is inside them to present high-quality art that is worthy of them and their university so that their messages reach everyone who receives and understands them.

 

In the same context, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdelaal, Vice President for Education and Students’ Affairs, indicates that eight student plays will be presented, with each faculty participating with one play, competing for the titles of Best Play, Best Actor, Best Actress, and Best Director, in addition to incentive awards for outstanding theatrical performance.
