Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, President of Kafrelsheikh University, participates in the regular meeting of the Supreme Council of Universities held today, Saturday, at the headquarters of Hurghada University. The meeting is headed by Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and attended by Dr. Mustafa Refaat, Secretary of the Council, and members of the Council.
Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, confirms the need for universities and institutes to prepare for the second semester exams of the current academic year, directing faculties to quickly announce exam schedules well in advance.
Dr. Ayman Ashour directs the Ministry of Higher Education to raise awareness of the role played by the Tamkeen initiative, which aims to support the voices of students with disabilities, highlight their talents and abilities, and ensure their full participation in university life. The Minister also directs the establishment of a central unit at the Ministry of Higher Education to coordinate with all universities to follow up the integration of students with disabilities into university life.
Dr. Ayman Ashour confirms the importance of attracting international students, considering it a priority in the Ministry's action plan to enhance Egypt's role as an attractive destination for students wishing to study at Egyptian universities. He notes that the Ministry of Higher Education is implementing the ambitious plan set by the state to make Egypt a unique educational destination in the field of higher education and scientific research, capitalizing on the distinguished human capabilities and long-standing academic and research expertise of Egyptian universities in the field of higher education and scientific research.
Under the patronage of Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the Second International Conference on Technology Education is launched. Several distinguished discussion and dialogue sessions are held to enhance dialogue on the future of technology education and build professional relationships that contribute to linking education and scientific research. The conference also addresses the needs of the global market and discusses modern trends in various technological fields, linking them to the outcomes of technology education. It also includes exchanging ideas and visions on the latest innovations and practical challenges facing the field of technology education, both locally and internationally.
The Council also reviews a report on the universities' efforts during the coming period to market Egyptian universities, their academic programs, and their distinguished capabilities.
