The university witnesses the closing ceremony of the activities of the fourth sports festival for student families of Egyptian universities, which continues from 5/2/2025 to 8/2/2025, with the slogan "Youth of the Universities of the New Republic", which is held under the patronage of Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research; Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, Minister of Youth and Sports; Major General Dr. Alaa Abd El-Moaty, Governor of Kafrelsheikh, and Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, President of the University.
Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, President of the University, receives Dr. Moawad El-Kholy, President of New Mansoura University; Dr. Montaser Dowidar, President of Samanoud Technological University; Dr. Amr Haddad, Head of the Central Administration for Sports Development at the Ministry of Youth and Sports; Dr. Ahmed Hassan, Director General of the General Administration for Sports Activities at the Ministry of Youth and Sports, and Mohamed Abd El-Samee, Director of the Universities Administration at the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
During his speech, Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, President of the University, welcomes the attendees from various Egyptian universities, wishing everyone continued success, confirming that the festival is the result of cooperation between the university and the Ministry of Youth and Sports, represented by the "Central Administration for Sports Development", and aims to develop students' skills, especially in the sports field, which contributes positively to shaping the student's personality and qualifying him physically and psychologically, in addition to the fact that organizing and participating in such festivals helps instill the values ??of fair competition and achieving communication and integration among university students, confirming the keenness of the university administration to provide means of support for students to practice all student activities, which contributes to supporting students' capabilities.
During his speech, Dr. Amr El Haddad, Head of the Central Administration for Sports Development at the Ministry of Youth and Sports, confirms that the fourth sports festival for student families is one of the fruits of cooperation between the Ministries of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Youth and Sports, and Local Development to disseminate sports awareness within Egyptian universities, pointing out that the festival is a national occasion in which distinguished Egyptian youth meet at Egyptian universities to get acquainted first and then compete honorably in sports activities, praising the good organization and management of Kafrelsheikh University.
Otherwise, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdelaal, Vice President of the University for Education and Students’ Affairs, welcomes the attendees from various Egyptian universities, confirming that the fourth sports festival for student families in Egyptian universities is the first launch of preparations for the start of sports activities for the new academic year, pointing out the importance of student activities in general and sports activities in particular.
