Today, Monday, 10/2/2025, the Council of Deans, headed by Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, President of the University, holds its regular session, in the Council Hall to discuss a number of topics related to the educational and research process, and to review the developments and topics presented to the Council.
Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, President of the University, begins the Deans Council meeting by following up the good conduct of the educational process in the various faculties and institutes of the university at the beginning of the second semester of the academic year 2024/2025, and confirming the completion of all arrangements for the regularity of study and the educational process in the second semester, and that the university is working hard to provide all the elements of quality required by the educational process, and the university is keen to help its students through full commitment to creating the appropriate atmosphere, and providing a stimulating and supportive academic environment for excellence and creativity.
The President of Kafrelsheikh University confirms the readiness to hold the dialogue seminar of the Mufti, Prof. Dr. Nazir Ayad, within the framework of renewing religious discourse and building awareness among young people, scheduled to be held on Wednesday, February 12, 2025.
The President also directs the Council of Deans to prepare to host the comprehensive educational seminar scheduled to be held on 13/4/2025 with the participation of 10 public and private universities, under the supervision of the Popular and Military Defense Forces and in cooperation with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
The president also confirms the importance of investing in the results of scientific researches and benefiting from the outputs of scientific research in supporting economic and societal development, and intensifying the efforts made to achieve distinguished results to participate in advancing the national project to eradicate illiteracy in line with the goals of sustainable development, Egypt Vision 2030.
The Council also follows up the launch of comprehensive development convoys in the most needy villages, within the framework of the university's role in contributing to the implementation of the state's plan and the directives of the political leadership to build generations capable of keeping pace with the serious steps of the Egyptian state in building the modern state and contributing to achieving its goals according to Vision 2030, and believing in the role of the university in serving the community within the villages of Kafrelsheikh Governorate.
The president also confirms the organization of awareness seminars on the impact of the pace of climate change and the challenges we face, praising the university's efforts and contributions to the issue of climate change, as the university provides scientific and research contributions to confront the challenges of the impact of climate change, considering that climate change is one of the most topics that are consistent with Egypt's strategic vision 2030.
