The University's Participation in the "Leaders of Student Unions of the New Republic's Universities... Egypt 2030" Forum to develop Leadership Skills

The university participates with its student leadership represented by the Head of the Student Union and 4 secretaries of the University Student Union Council in the "Leaders of Student Unions of the New Republic Universities... Egypt 2030" Forum for developing leadership skills, held at Assiut University during the period from February 9 to 13, 2025, with the participation of student union leaders from 26 Egyptian universities, under the patronage of Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research; Prof.  Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, President of the University; Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdelaal, Vice President of the University for Education and Students’ Affairs, and Dr. Rushdy El-Adawy, General Coordinator of Student Activities at the University, and under the supervision of Mr Ehab Gad, Director General of the General Administration for Student Welfare at the University.

Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, President of the University, confirms that the forum aims to prepare future leaders and develop skills and capabilities to build an aware generation of leaders, and to create communication between the heads and deputies of the Egyptian University Students Union, to strengthen relations and ties between them, and to enhance the values ??of cooperation, teamwork, and the development of leadership skills, in a way that enhances their role in building the future of the nation, which contributes to achieving Egypt's Vision 2030.

The president explains that the university’s participation in this event is within its strategy to enhance student activities and develop leadership skills among students, noting that teamwork and leadership are among the foundations on which community development depends, which requires qualifying a new generation of young people capable of leadership and effective participation in decision-making.

 

Otherwise, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdelaal, Vice President of the University for Education and Students’ Affairs, confirms that the university continues to support the Student Union and provide a stimulating educational environment that contributes to developing students’ skills and enhances their ability to participate effectively in community activities.
