The President announces the Results of the Community Initiatives Competition qualifying for “Ibdaa 13” within the presidential initiative for human development “A New Beginning for Human Building”

Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, President of the University, announces the results of the community initiatives competition qualifying for “Ibdaa13” at the University within the presidential initiative “A New Beginning for Human Building”, which is organized by the Social Activity Department of the General Administration of Student Welfare, under the Patronage of Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, President of the University; Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdelaal, Vice President of the University for Education and Students’ Affairs; and Dr. Rushdy El Adawy, General Coordinator of Student Activities at the University, and the follow-up and implementation of the Social Activity Department of the General Administration of Student Welfare.

Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, President of the University, explains that the initiative must stem from the needs of the local community and have a return on society and the environment, in a manner consistent with the directions of Egypt’s Vision and Strategy 2030, ensuring the provision of applicable solutions to one of the issues or problems facing society. It also allows for the acceptance of emerging initiatives that have provided initial steps towards achieving the submitted initiative.

The president confirms that community initiatives are essential to promoting social participation, as they help raise awareness of the importance of participating in social issues and encourage people to participate and work together to find appropriate solutions to the problems facing society. Community initiatives are also a means of providing platforms and opportunities that allow individuals and groups to communicate and cooperate with each other, and enable them to enrich dialogue and discussion on social issues.

 

Otherwise, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdelaal, Vice President of the University for Education and Students’ Affairs, points out that a number of initiatives are submitted by students of the university’s faculties and are evaluated based on the technical criteria for evaluating the idea of ??the proposed initiative, including: technical criteria for judging the idea of ??the initiative, the initiative’s distinction and modernity, the initiative’s ability to be evaluated and verified, the status of the initiative’s volunteer work, the initiative’s return in addressing societal problems, and the initiative’s presentation skills.
