Today, Tuesday, 12/11/2024, the Council of Deans, headed by Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, President of the University, holds its regular session, in the Council Hall to discuss a number of topics related to the educational and research process, and to review the developments and topics presented to the Council.
Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, President of the University, begins the session of the Deans Council by thanking the vices of the president and deans of the faculties for the effort made in the educational process and the good performance and regularity of work within the faculties, confirming the continuation of following up on the educational process for the new academic year 2024/2025 in the faculties and institutes of the university according to the announced time plan, and emphasizing that work is proceeding at full speed according to the comprehensive plan, and that the university always keeps the interest of the university student in mind, and works hard to provide the necessary means of support and care.
The President of Kafrelsheikh University confirms the need to take all necessary measures to prepare for the winter season for all faculties and units of the university, which includes completing maintenance work on buildings, facilities, electricity, sewage and fire systems, preparing auditoriums, lecture halls, laboratories, libraries and medical clinics in the faculties, following up periodic cleaning inside the university campus, and placing signboards, in addition to warning of the need to strictly adhere to insurance and protection work for the university campus and all university facilities and installations, directing the need to rationalize all aspects of spending.
The president also directs the deans’ council to follow up the implementation of the e-books system, prepare for the university and industry conference scheduled to be held during the period from 27-28 November, encourage staff members and assistant staff to apply for getting fund for research projects from national and international sources, encourage student participation in research groups in scientific departments, work on disseminating the culture of intellectual property protection among university youth, follow up updating the websites of the university, its faculties and institutes, and follow up preparations to apply for academic accreditation for faculties and university programs.
Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, President of the University, also directs the Council of Deans to be present and pay attention to everything related to the student union elections for the academic year 2024/2025, which are scheduled to be held next Thursday in all faculties, confirming the need to take all necessary measures and procedures to hold the student union elections according to the timetable announced by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
Finally, the President directs the Council of Deans to follow up the work of the comprehensive development convoys in various specializations, and to provide all contributions and capabilities to participate in the efforts made to achieve the goals of the presidential initiatives “A New Beginning for Human Building” and “A Dignified Life.”
