Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, President of the University; Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, Minister of Youth and Sports and Captain Shaaban Al-Khatib, Secretary of the Faculty of Arts, Member of the Board of Directors of the Egyptian Paralympic Committee and Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Marrakesh International Paralympic Athletics Championships, congratulate after the national team achieves a historic achievement by winning 8 medals, including 3 gold medals, 3 silver medals, and 2 bronze medals, during the period from April 21 to 29 in Morocco, as the tournament witnesses strong competition with the participation of 54 countries, for their keenness to be qualified for the Paris Paralympics, wishing success and winning Olympic medals to be added to the achievements achieved by Egyptian sports and to raise Egypt’s name high in this international sports forum.
Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, President of the University, expresses his pride and happiness with the honorable role models among the University’s students, saying that Shaaban Al-Khatib is considered one of the heroes of Kafrelsheikh University, and a pride for the University and for all of Egypt, pointing out that the Marrakesh International Paralympic Athletics Championship is one of the strongest tournaments on the agenda of the International Paralympic Committee for qualification for the Paris 2024 tournament.
